Noemi Sala and Carlo Maldotti are both sommeliers and restaurateurs, they combine their passion for wine, their professionalism and the desire to open an e-commerce to share their selection with everyone and bring it to your cellars.

Noemi Sala

Raised on the outskirts of Milan with a degree in economics, international masters and various experiences between Denmark and Australia, she obtained the third level WSET qualification. In 2018 she founded La Sala del Vino, a wine shop with small dishes which has become a point of reference in the Ortica district and throughout the city of Milan. With a business woman's head and extensive knowledge of wines from all over the world, this can be understood from the section that collects her personal advice. Have you already seen it?

Carlo Maldotti

Musician. After years spent playing the double bass, he decided to turn his passion for wine into a profession and approached the world of food. AIS graduated sommelier, with an innate attention to the customer and to food and wine pairings, he has 6 years of experience behind him at Spazio Niko Romito in Milan where he took care of the cellar. With Noemi he opened La Sala Bistrot, an offshoot of the Sala del Vino, a successful restaurant project in the city center concluded in 2024. He takes care of the entire selection of Monopole, preferring small wine-growing companies that are expressive of their territory, whether Italian or abroad.
